1 And on the third day after, there was a marriage at Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 And Jesus and his disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 And the wine falling short, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? my time is not yet come. 5 His mother saith to the servants, Whatsoever he ordereth you to do, do it. 6 And there were six stone waterpots, placed according to the custom of purifying among the Jews, containing each about two or three firkins. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the water-pots with water: and they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and carry it to the master of the feast. And they carried it to him. John 2:1-8, Worsley New Testament. Public domain.
