John 14:13-31 ▼

13 And whatever you? might ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you? ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

15 If you? love Me, you? will keep My commandments.

16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you? another Advocate so that He may be with you? to the age—

17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not see Him, nor does it know Him. But you? know Him, for He abides with you? and will be in you?.

18 I will not leave you? as orphans; I am coming to you?.

19 Yet a little while, and the world sees Me no more, but you? see Me. Because I live, you? also will live.

20 In that day you? will know that I am in My Father, and you? in Me, and I in you?.

21 The one having My commandments and keeping them, he is the one loving Me. Now the one loving Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and I will show Myself to him.”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) says to Him, “Lord, then what has occurred that You are about to manifest Yourself to us and not to the world?”

23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and will make a home with him.

24 The one not loving Me does not keep My words. And the word that you? hear is not Mine, but that of the Father having sent Me.

25 These things I have said to you?, remaining with you?.

26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you? all things and will remind you? of all the things that I said to you?.

27 Peace I leave with you?; My peace I give to you?. Not as the world gives do I give to you?. Let not your? heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.

28 You? heard that I said to you?, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you?.’ If you? loved Me, you? would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.

29 And now I have told you? before it comes to pass, so that when it shall have come to pass, you? may believe.

30 No longer will I speak much with you?; for the ruler of the world comes, and in Me he has nothing.

31 But so that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded Me, thus I do. Rise up, let us go from here.
