Jeremiah 33:1-5 ▼

1 And the word of YHWH came to Jeremiah a second time (and he was still shut up in the court of the guard), saying:

2 “Thus says YHWH, who made the earth, YHWH who formed it to establish it—YHWH is His name:

3 Call to Me and I will answer you, and will show to you great and hidden things that you have not known.

4 For thus says YHWH, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah pulled down against the siege mounds and against the sword:

5 They are coming in to fight with the Chaldeans and to fill them with the carcasses of the men whom I will slay in My anger and in My fury, and for whom I have hidden My face from this city and over all their evil.
