4 And Heshbon and Elealeh cry out; as far as Jahaz their voice is heard. Upon thus the armed ones of Moab cry out; his soul trembles within him. 5 My heart cries out for Moab, for her fugitives are as far as Zoar, to Eglath-Shelishiyyah; for the Ascent of Luhith—with weeping he goes up on it; for on the road of Horonaim they raise up a cry from destruction. 6 For the waters of Nimrim have become desolations, for the grass has withered away; the vegetation is finished—nothing green is there. 7 Upon thus, the abundance he made and their store, they carry them over the Brook of the Willows. 8 For the outcry has gone all around the borders of Moab; as far as Eglaim is her howling, and her howling is in Beer-elim. 9 For the waters of Dimon have been full of blood, for I will put upon Dimon added things: A lion for the survivor of Moab, and for the remnant of the land.
