Hebrews 4:9-16 ▼

9 Consequently, there remains a sabbath-keeping for the people of God.

10 For He Who entered into His rest, Himself also rested from his works, as God did from His Own.

11 Let us, therefore, give diligence to enter into that rest, that no one fall after the same example of unbelief.

12 For the word of God is living, and effectual, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to a dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 And there is no creature that is not manifest in His presence; but all things are naked and laid bare to the eyes of Him with Whom is our account.

14 Having, therefore, a great High Priest, Who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession;

15 for we have not a High Priest, unable to sympathize with our infirmities, but One Who hath been tempted in all points like as we , apart from sin.

16 Let us, therefore, come with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace for seasonable help.
