22 When Serug (branch) was 30 years old, he became the father of Nahor (snorting). 23 And after he had become the father of Nahor (snorting), Serug (branch) lived 200 years and had other sons and daughters. 24 When Nahor (snorting) was 29 years old, he became the father of Terah (station). 25 And after he had become the father of Terah (station), Nahor (snorting) lived 119 years and had other sons and daughters. 26 When Terah (station) was 70 years old, he became the father of Abram (exalted father), Nahor (snorting), and Haran (mountaineer). 27 This is the account of Terah (station). Terah became the father of Abram (exalted father), Nahor (snorting), and Haran (mountaineer). And Haran became the father of Lot (covering). 28 During his father Terah’s lifetime (station), Haran (mountaineer) died in his native land, in Ur (flame) of the Chaldeans (clod-breakers). 29 And Abram (exalted father) and Nahor (snorting) took wives for themselves. Abram’s wife was named Sarai (princess), and Nahor’s wife was named Milcah (queen); she was the daughter of Haran (mountaineer), who was the father of both Milcah and Iscah (one who looks forth). 30 But Sarai (princess) was barren; she had no children. 31 And Terah (station) took his son Abram (exalted father), his grandson Lot (covering) son of Haran (mountaineer), and his daughter-in-law Sarai (princess) the wife of Abram, and they set out from Ur (flame) of the Chaldeans (clod-breakers) for the land of Canaan (lowland). But when they arrived in Haran, they settled there. 32 Terah (station) lived 205 years, and he died in Haran (mountaineer). Genesis 11:22-32, Berean Annotated Bible. Public domain.
