10 Because, even because they have led My people astray, saying, ‘Peace!’ When there is no peace, and one is building a wall, and behold them, they plaster it with whitewash, 11 you will say to those plastering with whitewash that it will fall! There will be an overflowing rain, and you⁺, O stones of hail, will fall, and a wind of tempests will tear it down. 12 And behold, when the wall has fallen, it will not be said to you⁺, ‘Where is the whitewash with which you⁺ plastered it?’ 13 Therefore, thus says the Lord YHWH: And I will cause to break forth a wind of tempests in My fury, and an overflowing rain there will be in My anger, and stones of hail in My fury to consume! 14 And I will break down the wall that you⁺ have plastered with whitewash, and I will make it touch to the ground, and its foundation will be uncovered, and it will fall, and you⁺ will be finished off in the midst of it.
