Exodus 25:1-11 ▼

1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and they shall take for Me a contribution. From every man whose heart impels him, you⁺ shall take My contribution.

3 And this is the contribution that you⁺ shall take from them: gold, and silver, and bronze,

4 and blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,

5 and ram skins dyed red, and badger skins, and acacia wood,

6 oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the incense of spices,

7 onyx stones, and stones as settings for the ephod and for the breastplate.

8 And let them make for Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst.

9 According to all that I am showing you—the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its vessels—and thus you⁺ shall make it.

10 And they shall make an ark of acacia wood, two cubits and a half its length, and a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

11 And you shall overlay it with pure gold—from within and from without you shall overlay it—and you shall make on it a molding of gold all around.
