35 Furthermore, the Israelites (God prevails) acted on Moses’ (drawn out) word and asked the Egyptians (land of bondage) for articles of silver and gold, and for clothing. 36 And the LORD {YHWH} gave the people such favor in the sight of the Egyptians (land of bondage) that they granted their request.
