25 For David says about Him: ‘I foresaw the Lord before me through all, because He is at my right hand, that I should not be shaken. 26 Because of this my heart was glad and my tongue rejoiced, and now also my flesh will dwell in hope, 27 for You will not abandon my soul into Hades, nor will You give Your Holy One to see decay. 28 You made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’ 29 Men, brothers, it is permitted me to speak with freedom to you? concerning the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us unto this day, 30 being therefore a prophet and knowing that God swore to him with an oath to seat one out of the fruit of his loins upon his throne. 31 Having foreseen, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was He abandoned into Hades, nor did His flesh see decay.
