24 And she took him up with her when she had weaned him, along with a three-year-old bull and one ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and she brought him to the house of YHWH in Shiloh; and the boy was a young boy. 25 And they slaughtered a bull and brought the boy to Eli. 26 And she said, “Please, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you in this place praying to YHWH. 27 I prayed for this boy, and YHWH has granted to me my petition that I asked of Him. 28 And also I have granted him to YHWH.
