12 Beloved, do not think strange the fiery ordeal among you? taking place for a trial to you?, as if a strange thing were happening to you?. 13 But as you? share in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, so that also in the revelation of His glory you? may rejoice, exulting. 14 If you? are reproached in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you?. 15 For let not any of you? suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler, 16 but if as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this name. 17 For it is the time for the judgment to have begun from the house of God; and if from us first, what will be the end of those being disobedient to the gospel of God? 18 And, “If the righteous one is saved with difficulty, where will appear the ungodly and sinner?” 19 Therefore also, those suffering according to the will of God, let them commit their souls to the faithful Creator in doing good. 1 Peter 4:12-19, Berean Literal Bible.
