12 Beloved, do not think strange the fiery ordeal among you⁺ taking place for a trial to you⁺, as if a strange thing were happening to you⁺. 13 But as you⁺ share in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, so that also in the revelation of His glory you⁺ may rejoice, exulting. 14 If you⁺ are reproached in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you⁺. 15 For let not any of you⁺ suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler, 16 but if as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this name. 1 Peter 4:12-16, Berean Literal Bible.
