1 And king Solomon was King over all Israel. 2 And these were the officials who were unto him: Azariah son of Zadok the priest; 3 Elihoreph and Ahijah the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud, the recorder; 4 and Benaiah son of Jehoiada, over the army; and Zadok and Abiathar, the priests; 5 and Azariah son of Nathan, over the officers; and Zabud son of Nathan, a priest, friend of the king; 6 and Ahishar, over the house; and Adoniram son of Abda, over the forced labor. 7 And had Solomon twelve governors over all Israel, and they provided food for the king and his house—one month of the year was upon each one for provision. 1 Kings 4:1-7, Berean Literal Bible.
