20 And David said to all the assembly, “Bless now YHWH your? God.” And all the assembly blessed YHWH, the God of their fathers, and they bowed down, and paid homage to YHWH and to the king. 21 And they made sacrifices to YHWH and offered burnt offerings to YHWH on that next day: A thousand bulls, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel. 22 And they ate and drank before the face of YHWH on that day with great joy. And Solomon son of David they made king a second time, and they anointed him before YHWH for a leader, and Zadok for priest. 23 And Solomon sat on the throne of YHWH as king instead of David his father, and he prospered. And all Israel listened to him. 24 And all the leaders, and the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David gave a hand under King Solomon. 25 And YHWH exceedingly exalted Solomon in the eyes of all Israel, and He bestowed on him royal majesty as had not been on any king in Israel before him. 26 And David son of Jesse reigned over all Israel. 27 And the days that he reigned over Israel were forty years—in Hebron he reigned seven years, and in Jerusalem He reigned thirty-three. 28 And he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honor. And Solomon his son reigned in his place. 29 And the acts of David the king, the first and the last, indeed they are written in the words of Samuel the Seer and in the words of Nathan the Prophet, and in the words of Gad the Seer, 30 with all his reign, and his might, and the times that happened to him and to Israel and to all the kingdoms of the lands. 1 Chronicles 29:20-30, Berean Literal Bible.
