1 YHWH has reigned, || The earth is joyful, many islands rejoice. The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad! The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.
2 Cloud and darkness [are] around Him, || Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne. Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
3 Fire goes before Him, || And burns around His adversaries. Fire goes before him and burns up his adversaries all around. Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side.
4 His lightnings have lightened the world, || The earth has seen, and is pained. His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles. His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles.

7 All servants of a carved image are ashamed, || Those boasting themselves in idols, || Bow yourselves to Him, all you gods. 9 For You, YHWH, [are] Most High over all the earth, || You have been exalted greatly over all gods. For you, O LORD, are most high over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. For you, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.
10 You who love YHWH, hate evil, || He is keeping the souls of His saints, || He delivers them from the hand of the wicked. O you who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Light [is] sown for the righteous, || And joy for the upright of heart. Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart. Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice, you righteous, in YHWH, || And give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness! Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name! Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.
