1 YHWH has reigned, || He has put on excellence, || YHWH put on strength, He girded Himself, || Also—the world is established, unmoved. The LORD reigns; he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
2 Your throne is established since then, || You [are] from the age. Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.
3 Floods have lifted up, O YHWH, || Floods have lifted up their voice, || Floods lift up their breakers. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. The seas have lifted up, LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
4 Mightier than the voices of many mighty waters, breakers of a sea, || [Is] YHWH on high, Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty! Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the LORD on high is mighty.
5 Your testimonies have been very steadfast, || Holiness befits Your house, O YHWH, for [the] length of [Your] days! Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits your house, O LORD, forevermore. Your statutes, LORD, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.
