1 <V 92:1>The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. In the time before the Sabbath, when the earth was founded. <V 92:2>The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty. <V 92:3>The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved. The LORD reigns; he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
2 <V 92:4>My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting. Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.
3 <V 92:5>The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves, The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. The seas have lifted up, LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
4 <V 92:6>before the noise of many waters. Wondrous are the surges of the sea; wondrous is the Lord on high. Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty! Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the LORD on high is mighty.
5 <V 92:7>Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days. Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits your house, O LORD, forevermore. Your statutes, LORD, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.
