Unto the end, for the sons of Core, a psalm. Lord, thou hast blessed thy land: thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob. LORD, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. You, LORD, showed favor to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people: thou hast covered all their sins. You forgave the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sin. Selah You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.
Thou hast mitigated all thy anger: thou best turned away from the wrath of thy indignation. You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger. You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.
Convert us, O God our saviour: and turn off thy anger from us. Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us! Restore us again, God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us.
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever: or wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation? Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to all generations? Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Thou wilt turn, O God, and bring us to life: and thy people shall rejoice in thee. Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
Shew us, O Lord, thy mercy; and grant us thy salvation. Show us your steadfast love, O LORD, and grant us your salvation. Show us your unfailing love, LORD, and grant us your salvation.
I will hear what the Lord God will speak in me: for he will speak peace unto his people: And unto his saints: and unto them that are converted to the heart. Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. I will listen to what God the LORD says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants— but let them not turn to folly.
Surely his salvation is near to them that fear him: that glory may dwell in our land. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.
Mercy and truth have met each other: justice and peace have kissed. Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Truth is sprung out of the earth: and justice hath looked down from heaven. Faithfulness springs up from the ground, and righteousness looks down from the sky. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
For the Lord will give goodness: and our earth shall yield her fruit. Yes, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
Justice shall walk before him: and shall set his steps in the way. Righteousness will go before him and make his footsteps a way. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
