1 For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. A Psalm of Asaph. Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob! For the director of music. According to gittith. Of Asaph. Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob!
2 Take up the psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. Raise a song; sound the tambourine, the sweet lyre with the harp. Begin the music, strike the timbrel, play the melodious harp and lyre.
3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, at the full moon, on our solemn feast day. Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day. Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our festival;

9 There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god. There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god. You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not worship any god other than me.
10 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.
11 But my people hearkened not to my voice; and Israel would none of me. “But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. “But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me.

16 He should feed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I satisfy thee. But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” But you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”
