1 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the sky! Praise him in the heavens! Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights! Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights above.
2 Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all his heavenly assembly! Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts! Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
3 Praise him, O sun and moon! Praise him, all you shiny stars! Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars! Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.
4 Praise him, O highest heaven, and you waters above the sky! Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he gave the command and they came into existence. Let them praise the name of the LORD! For he commanded and they were created. Let them praise the name of the LORD, for at his command they were created,
6 He established them so they would endure; he issued a decree that will not be revoked. And he established them forever and ever; he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away. and he established them for ever and ever— he issued a decree that will never pass away.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you sea creatures and all you ocean depths, Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps, Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
8 O fire and hail, snow and clouds, O stormy wind that carries out his orders, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling his word! lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding,
9 you mountains and all you hills, you fruit trees and all you cedars, Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars! you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars,
10 you animals and all you cattle, you creeping things and birds, Beasts and all livestock, creeping things and flying birds! wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds,
11 you kings of the earth and all you nations, you princes and all you leaders on the earth, Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth! kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 you young men and young women, you elderly, along with you children! Young men and maidens together, old men and children! young men and women, old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty extends over the earth and sky. Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven. Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 He has made his people victorious, and given all his loyal followers reason to praise--the Israelites, the people who are close to him. Praise the LORD! He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his saints, for the people of Israel who are near to him. Praise the LORD! And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the LORD.
