A song of ascents. From the deep water I cry out to you, O LORD. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
O Lord, listen to me! Pay attention to my plea for mercy! O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you? If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But you are willing to forgive, so that you might be honored. But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I rely on the LORD, I rely on him with my whole being; I wait for his assuring word. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
I yearn for the Lord, more than watchmen do for the morning, yes, more than watchmen do for the morning. my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the LORD, for the LORD exhibits loyal love, and is more than willing to deliver. O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
He will deliver Israel from all the consequences of their sins. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
