[A song for going up to worship.] O LORD, out of the depths I call to you. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be open to my pleas for mercy. O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
O LORD, who would be able to stand if you kept a record of sins? If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness so that you can be feared. But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and with hope I wait for his word. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
My soul waits for the LORD more than those who watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning. my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, because with the LORD there is mercy and with him there is unlimited forgiveness. O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
He will rescue Israel from all its sins. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
