A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
My soul looketh for the Lord, more than watchmen look for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning. my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
