1 A Song of Ascents. How blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, Who walks in His ways. Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways! A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him.
2 When you shall eat of the fruit of the labor of your hands, How blessed will you be and how well will it be for you. You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the innermost parts of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
4 Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed Who fears Yahweh. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the LORD.
5 May Yahweh bless you from Zion, That you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. The LORD bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life! May the LORD bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6 Indeed, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel! May you see your children’s children! Peace be upon Israel! May you live to see your children’s children— peace be on Israel.
