Song of ascensions. I will lift up mine eyes to the mountains from whence shall come my help. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?
My help from Jehovah; he made the heavens and the earth. My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not give to move thy foot: he watching thee will not slumber. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
Behold, he watching. Israel will not slumber and he will not sleep. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
Jehovah watching thee Jehovah thy shade upon thy right hand. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
By day the sun shall not burn thee, and the moon in the night. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
Jehovah shall watch thee from all evil: he shall watch thy soul. The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
Jehovah shall watch thy going out and thy coming in, from time and even forever. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
