A psalm of David. I will sing of faithful love and justice; I will sing praise to you, LORD. I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will make music. Of David. A psalm. I will sing of your love and justice; to you, LORD, I will sing praise.
I will pay attention to the way of integrity. When will you come to me? I will live with a heart of integrity in my house. I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house; I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart.
I will not let anything worthless guide me. I hate the practice of transgression; it will not cling to me. I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it.
A devious heart will be far from me; I will not be involved with evil. A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil. The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil.
I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor; I cannot tolerate anyone with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart. Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure. Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not tolerate.
My eyes favor the faithful of the land so that they may sit down with me. The one who follows the way of integrity may serve me. I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me. My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.
No one who acts deceitfully will live in my palace; the one who tells lies will not be retained here to guide me. No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes. No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.
Every morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, wiping out all evildoers from the LORD’s city. Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land, cutting off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD. Every morning I will put to silence all the wicked in the land; I will cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.
