2 to know wisdom and instruction; to discern the words of understanding; To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight;

7 The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge, but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
8 My son, listen to your father’s instruction, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching; Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
9 for they will be a garland to grace your head, and chains around your neck. for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.
