29	תַּ֭חַת כִּי־ שָׂ֣נְאוּ דָ֑עַת וְיִרְאַ֥ת יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה לֹ֣א בָחָֽרוּ׃	Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD,	since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD.
30	לֹא־ אָב֥וּ לַעֲצָתִ֑י נָ֝אֲצ֗וּ כָּל־ תּוֹכַחְתִּֽי׃	would have none of my counsel and despised all my reproof,	Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke,
31	וְֽ֭יֹאכְלוּ מִפְּרִ֣י דַרְכָּ֑ם וּֽמִמֹּעֲצֹ֖תֵיהֶ֣ם יִשְׂבָּֽעוּ׃	therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way, and have their fill of their own devices.	they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
32	כִּ֤י מְשׁוּבַ֣ת פְּתָיִ֣ם תַּֽהַרְגֵ֑ם וְשַׁלְוַ֖ת כְּסִילִ֣ים תְּאַבְּדֵֽם׃	For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them;	For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33	וְשֹׁמֵ֣עַֽ לִ֭י יִשְׁכָּן־ בֶּ֑טַח וְ֝שַׁאֲנַ֗ן מִפַּ֥חַד רָעָֽה׃ פ	but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”	but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
