2	take the number of all the multitude of the childern of Israel from .xx. yere ad aboue thorow out their fathers housses all that are able to goo to warre in Israel.	“Take a census of all the congregation of the people of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all in Israel who are able to go to war.”	“Take a census of the whole Israelite community by families—all those twenty years old or more who are able to serve in the army of Israel.”
3	And Moses and Eleazer the preast tolde them in the feldes of Moab by Iordane fast by Iericho	And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,	So on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them and said,
4	from xx. yere and aboue as the Lorde commaunded Moses. And the childern of Israel that came out of Egipte were.	“Take a census of the people, from twenty years old and upward,” as the LORD commanded Moses. The people of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt were:	“Take a census of the men twenty years old or more, as the LORD commanded Moses.” These were the Israelites who came out of Egypt:
5	Ruben the eldest sonne of Israel. The childern of Ruben were Hanoch of whome cometh the kynred of the Hanochites: and of Palu cometh the kynred of the Paluites:	Reuben, the firstborn of Israel; the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the clan of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the clan of the Palluites;	The descendants of Reuben, the firstborn son of Israel, were: through Hanok, the Hanokite clan; through Pallu, the Palluite clan;
6	And of Hesron cometh the kynred of the Hesronites: and of Carmi cometh the kynred of the Carmites.	of Hezron, the clan of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the clan of the Carmites.	through Hezron, the Hezronite clan; through Karmi, the Karmite clan.
7	These are the kynredes of the Rubenites which were in numbre .xliij. thousande. vij. hudred an .xxx.	These are the clans of the Reubenites, and those listed were 43,730.	These were the clans of Reuben; those numbered were 43,730.
8	And the sonnes of Palu were Eliab.	And the sons of Pallu: Eliab.	The son of Pallu was Eliab,
9	And the sonnes of Eliab were: Nemuel Dathan and Abiram.This is that Dathan and Abiram councelers in the cogregacion which stroue agest Moses and Aaron in the companye of Corah when they stroue agenst the Lorde.	The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram, chosen from the congregation, who contended against Moses and Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against the LORD	and the sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram. The same Dathan and Abiram were the community officials who rebelled against Moses and Aaron and were among Korah’s followers when they rebelled against the LORD.
10	And the erth opened hir mouth ad swalowed the and Corah also when the multitude dyed what tyme the fyre consumed .ij. hundred and fiftie men and they became a signe:	and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, when the fire devoured 250 men, and they became a warning.	The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them along with Korah, whose followers died when the fire devoured the 250 men. And they served as a warning sign.
11	Notwithstondynge the childern of Corah dyed not.	But the sons of Korah did not die.	The line of Korah, however, did not die out.
12	And the childern of Simeon in their kynredes were: Nemuel of whom cometh ye kynred of the Nemuelites: Iamin of whom cometh the kynred of the Iaminytes: Iachin of whom cometh the kynred of the Iachinites:	The sons of Simeon according to their clans: of Nemuel, the clan of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the clan of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the clan of the Jachinites;	The descendants of Simeon by their clans were: through Nemuel, the Nemuelite clan; through Jamin, the Jaminite clan; through Jakin, the Jakinite clan;
13	Serah of whome cometh the kynred of the Serahites: Saul of whom cometh the kynred of the Saulites.	of Zerah, the clan of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the clan of the Shaulites.	through Zerah, the Zerahite clan; through Shaul, the Shaulite clan.
14	These are the kynredes of the Simeonites: in numbre. xxij. thousande and .ij. hundred.	These are the clans of the Simeonites, 22,200.	These were the clans of Simeon; those numbered were 22,200.
15	And the childern of Gad in their kynredes were: Zephon of whom cometh the kynred of the Zephonites: and of Haggi cometh the kynred of the Haggites: and of Suni cometh the kynred of the Sunites:	The sons of Gad according to their clans: of Zephon, the clan of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the clan of the Haggites; of Shuni, the clan of the Shunites;	The descendants of Gad by their clans were: through Zephon, the Zephonite clan; through Haggi, the Haggite clan; through Shuni, the Shunite clan;
16	and of Aseni cometh the kynred of the Asenites: and of Eri cometh the kynred of the Erites:	of Ozni, the clan of the Oznites; of Eri, the clan of the Erites;	through Ozni, the Oznite clan; through Eri, the Erite clan;
17	and of Arod cometh the kynred of the Arodites: and of Ariel cometh the kynred of the Arielites.	of Arod, the clan of the Arodites; of Areli, the clan of the Arelites.	through Arodi, the Arodite clan; through Areli, the Arelite clan.
18	These are the kynredes of the children of Gad in numbre .xl. thousande and .v. hundred.	These are the clans of the sons of Gad as they were listed, 40,500.	These were the clans of Gad; those numbered were 40,500.
19	The childern of Iuda: Er and Ona whiche dyed in the londe of Canaan.	The sons of Judah were Er and Onan; and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.	Er and Onan were sons of Judah, but they died in Canaan.
20	But the childern of Iuda in their kynred were: Sela of whom cometh the kynred of the Selamites: and of Phares cometh the kynred of ye Pharesites: and of Serah cometh the kynred of the Serahites.	And the sons of Judah according to their clans were: of Shelah, the clan of the Shelanites; of Perez, the clan of the Perezites; of Zerah, the clan of the Zerahites.	The descendants of Judah by their clans were: through Shelah, the Shelanite clan; through Perez, the Perezite clan; through Zerah, the Zerahite clan.
21	And the childern of Phares were Hesron of whom cometh the kynred of the Hesronites: and of Hamul cometh ye kynred of the Hamulites.	And the sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the clan of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the clan of the Hamulites.	The descendants of Perez were: through Hezron, the Hezronite clan; through Hamul, the Hamulite clan.
22	These are the kynredes of Iuda in numbre .lxxvi. thousande and .v. hundred.	These are the clans of Judah as they were listed, 76,500.	These were the clans of Judah; those numbered were 76,500.
23	And the childern of Isachar in their kyndes were: Tola of who cometh ye kynred of the Tolaites: and Phuva of who cometh ye kinred of the Phuuaites:	The sons of Issachar according to their clans: of Tola, the clan of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the clan of the Punites;	The descendants of Issachar by their clans were: through Tola, the Tolaite clan; through Puah, the Puite clan;
24	and of Iasub cometh the kynred of the Iasubites: and of Symron cometh the kynred of the Simronites.	of Jashub, the clan of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the clan of the Shimronites.	through Jashub, the Jashubite clan; through Shimron, the Shimronite clan.
25	These are ye kynredes of Isachar in numbre .lxiiij thousande and .iij. hundred.	These are the clans of Issachar as they were listed, 64,300.	These were the clans of Issachar; those numbered were 64,300.
26	The childern of Zabulon in their kynredes were: Sered of whom cometh the kynred of the Seredites: and Elon of whom cometh the kynred of the Elonites: and of Iaheliel cometh the kynred of the Iehalclites.	The sons of Zebulun, according to their clans: of Sered, the clan of the Seredites; of Elon, the clan of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the clan of the Jahleelites.	The descendants of Zebulun by their clans were: through Sered, the Seredite clan; through Elon, the Elonite clan; through Jahleel, the Jahleelite clan.
27	These are the kynredes of Zabulon: in numbre .lx. thousand and .v. hundred.	These are the clans of the Zebulunites as they were listed, 60,500.	These were the clans of Zebulun; those numbered were 60,500.
28	The childern of Ioseph in their kinredes were: Manasse ad Ephraim.	The sons of Joseph according to their clans: Manasseh and Ephraim.	The descendants of Joseph by their clans through Manasseh and Ephraim were:
29	The childern of Manasse: Machir of whom cometh the kynred of the Machirites. And Machir begat Gilcad of whom cometh the kinred off the Gileadites.	The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the clan of the Machirites; and Machir was the father of Gilead; of Gilead, the clan of the Gileadites.	The descendants of Manasseh: through Makir, the Makirite clan (Makir was the father of Gilead); through Gilead, the Gileadite clan.
30	And these are the childern of Gilead: Hieser of whom cometh the kynred of the Hieserites: and of Helech cometh the kynred o f the Helechites:	These are the sons of Gilead: of Iezer, the clan of the Iezerites; of Helek, the clan of the Helekites;	These were the descendants of Gilead: through Iezer, the Iezerite clan; through Helek, the Helekite clan;
31	and of Asriel ye kinred of the Asrielites: and of Sichem cometh the kinred of the Sichimites:	and of Asriel, the clan of the Asrielites; and of Shechem, the clan of the Shechemites;	through Asriel, the Asrielite clan; through Shechem, the Shechemite clan;
32	and of Simida cometh the kinred of the Simidites: and of Hepher cometh the kinred of the Hepherites.	and of Shemida, the clan of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the clan of the Hepherites.	through Shemida, the Shemidaite clan; through Hepher, the Hepherite clan.
33	And Zelaphead the sonne of Hepher had no sonnes but doughters And ye names of ye doughters of Zelaphead were: Mahela Noa Hagla Milcha ad Thirza.	Now Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters. And the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.	(Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons; he had only daughters, whose names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milkah and Tirzah.)
34	These are the kinredes of Manasse in numbre lij. thousande and seuen hundred.	These are the clans of Manasseh, and those listed were 52,700.	These were the clans of Manasseh; those numbered were 52,700.
35	These are the childern of Ephraim in their kinredes: Suthelah of whom cometh the kinred of the Suthelahites: and Becher of whom cometh the kinred of the Becherites: and of Thaha cometh the kynred of the Thahanites.	These are the sons of Ephraim according to their clans: of Shuthelah, the clan of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the clan of the Becherites; of Tahan, the clan of the Tahanites.	These were the descendants of Ephraim by their clans: through Shuthelah, the Shuthelahite clan; through Beker, the Bekerite clan; through Tahan, the Tahanite clan.
36	And these are the childern of Suthelah: Eran of whom cometh the kynred of the Eranites.	And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the clan of the Eranites.	These were the descendants of Shuthelah: through Eran, the Eranite clan.
37	These are the kynredes of the childern of Ephraim in numbre .xxxij. thousande and v. hundred. And these are the childern of Ioseph in their kinredes.	These are the clans of the sons of Ephraim as they were listed, 32,500. These are the sons of Joseph according to their clans.	These were the clans of Ephraim; those numbered were 32,500. These were the descendants of Joseph by their clans.
38	These are the childern of Ben Iamin in their kinredes: Bela of whom cometh the kinred of the Belaites: and of Asbel cometh the kinred of the Asbelites: and of Ahiram the kinred of the Ahiramites:	The sons of Benjamin according to their clans: of Bela, the clan of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the clan of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the clan of the Ahiramites;	The descendants of Benjamin by their clans were: through Bela, the Belaite clan; through Ashbel, the Ashbelite clan; through Ahiram, the Ahiramite clan;
39	and of Supha the kinred of the Suphamites: and of Hupham the kinred of the Suphamites.	of Shephupham, the clan of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the clan of the Huphamites.	through Shupham, the Shuphamite clan; through Hupham, the Huphamite clan.
40	And the childern of Bela were Ard and Naama fro whence come the kinredes of the Ardites and of the Naamites.	And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the clan of the Ardites; of Naaman, the clan of the Naamites.	The descendants of Bela through Ard and Naaman were: through Ard, the Ardite clan; through Naaman, the Naamite clan.
41	These are the childern of Ben Iamin in their kinreddes and in numbre .xlv. thousande and syxe hundred.	These are the sons of Benjamin according to their clans, and those listed were 45,600.	These were the clans of Benjamin; those numbered were 45,600.
42	These are the childern of Dan in their kynreddes: Suham of whom cometh the kynred of the Suhamites. These are the kynreddes of Dan in their generacyons.	These are the sons of Dan according to their clans: of Shuham, the clan of the Shuhamites. These are the clans of Dan according to their clans.	These were the descendants of Dan by their clans: through Shuham, the Shuhamite clan. These were the clans of Dan:
43	And all the kynreddes of the Suhamites were in numbre .lxiiij. thousand ad iiij. hundred.	All the clans of the Shuhamites, as they were listed, were 64,400.	All of them were Shuhamite clans; and those numbered were 64,400.
44	The childern of Asser in their kynredes were: Iemna of whom cometh the kynred of the Iemnites: ad Isui of who m cometh the kinred of the Isuites: and of Bria cometh the kinred of the Briites.	The sons of Asher according to their clans: of Imnah, the clan of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the clan of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the clan of the Beriites.	The descendants of Asher by their clans were: through Imnah, the Imnite clan; through Ishvi, the Ishvite clan; through Beriah, the Beriite clan;
45	And the childern of bria were Heber of whom cometh ye kynred of the Heberites: and of Malchiel came the kynred of the Malchielites.	Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the clan of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the clan of the Malchielites.	and through the descendants of Beriah: through Heber, the Heberite clan; through Malkiel, the Malkielite clan.
46	And ye doughter of Asser was called Sarah.	And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.	(Asher had a daughter named Serah.)
47	These are the kinredes of Asser in numbre .liij. thousande and .iiij. hundred.	These are the clans of the sons of Asher as they were listed, 53,400.	These were the clans of Asher; those numbered were 53,400.
48	The childern of Nephtali in their kynreddes were: Iaheziel of whom came the kynred of the Iahezielites: and Gimi of whom came the kynred of the Gimites:	The sons of Naphtali according to their clans: of Jahzeel, the clan of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the clan of the Gunites;	The descendants of Naphtali by their clans were: through Jahzeel, the Jahzeelite clan; through Guni, the Gunite clan;

51	These are the numbres of the childern of Israel: sixe hundred thousande and a thousande vij. hundred and .xxx.	This was the list of the people of Israel, 601,730.	The total number of the men of Israel was 601,730.
52	And the Lorde spake vnto Moses sayenge:	The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,	The LORD said to Moses,
53	vnto these the londe shalbe deuyded to enherett acordinge to the numbre of names:	“Among these the land shall be divided for inheritance according to the number of names.	“The land is to be allotted to them as an inheritance based on the number of names.
54	to many thou shalt geue ye moare enheritaunce and to fewe ye lesse: to e uery tribe shall ye enheritauce be geue acordinge to ye numbre therof.	To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance; every tribe shall be given its inheritance in proportion to its list.	To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one; each is to receive its inheritance according to the number of those listed.
55	Notwithstondinge ye londe shalbe deuyded by lott and acordinge to ye names of ye tribes of their fathers thei shall enherett:	But the land shall be divided by lot. According to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.	Be sure that the land is distributed by lot. What each group inherits will be according to the names for its ancestral tribe.
56	and acordinge to their lott thou shalt deuyde their lond both to the many and to the fewe.	Their inheritance shall be divided according to lot between the larger and the smaller.”	Each inheritance is to be distributed by lot among the larger and smaller groups.”
57	These are the summes of ye leuites in their kinredes: of Gerson came the kynred of ye Gersonites: and of Cahath came the kinred of the Cahathites: and of Merari came the kinred of the Merarites.	This was the list of the Levites according to their clans: of Gershon, the clan of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the clan of the Kohathites; of Merari, the clan of the Merarites.	These were the Levites who were counted by their clans: through Gershon, the Gershonite clan; through Kohath, the Kohathite clan; through Merari, the Merarite clan.
58	These are the kinredes of Leui: the kinred of the Libnites the kynred of the Hebronites the kynred of the Mahelites the kynred of the Musites the kynred of the Karahites.Kahath begate Amram	These are the clans of Levi: the clan of the Libnites, the clan of the Hebronites, the clan of the Mahlites, the clan of the Mushites, the clan of the Korahites. And Kohath was the father of Amram.	These also were Levite clans: the Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan, the Korahite clan. (Kohath was the forefather of Amram;
59	and Amrams wife was called Iochebed a doughter of leui which was borne him in Egipte. And she bare vnto Amram Aaron Moses and Mir Iam their syster.	The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. And she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses and Miriam their sister.	the name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, who was born to the Levites in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron, Moses and their sister Miriam.
60	And vnto Aaron were borne Nadab Abihu Eleazer and Ithamar.	And to Aaron were born Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.	Aaron was the father of Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
61	But Nadab and Abihu dyed as they offered straunge fyre before the Lorde.	But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD.	But Nadab and Abihu died when they made an offering before the LORD with unauthorized fire.)
62	And the numbre of them was .xxiij. thousande of all the males from a moneth olde and aboue For they were not numbred amonge ye children of Israel because there was no enheritaunce geuen them amonge the childern off Israel.	And those listed were 23,000, every male from a month old and upward. For they were not listed among the people of Israel, because there was no inheritance given to them among the people of Israel.	All the male Levites a month old or more numbered 23,000. They were not counted along with the other Israelites because they received no inheritance among them.
63	These are the numbres of the childern of Israel which Moses and Eleazer the preast numbred in the feldes of Moab fast by Iordane nye to Iericho.	These were those listed by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who listed the people of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.	These are the ones counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
64	And amonge these there was not a man of the numbre of the children of Israel which Moses and Aaron tolde in the wildernesse of Sinai.	But among these there was not one of those listed by Moses and Aaron the priest, who had listed the people of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.	Not one of them was among those counted by Moses and Aaron the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai.
65	For the Lorde sayed vnto them that they shulde dye in ye wildernesse and that there shulde not be lefte a man of them: saue Caleb the sonne of Iephune and Iosua the sonne of Nun.	For the LORD had said of them, “They shall die in the wilderness.” Not one of them was left, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.	For the LORD had told those Israelites they would surely die in the wilderness, and not one of them was left except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
