43 οὐχ οὕτως δέ ἐστιν ἐν ὑμῖν ἀλλ’ ὃς ἂν θέλῃ μέγας γενέσθαι ἐν ὑμῖν ἔσται ὑμῶν διάκονος But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
44 καὶ ὃς ἂν θέλῃ ἐν ὑμῖν εἶναι πρῶτος ἔσται πάντων δοῦλος and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.
