And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes, Yet will I look again toward thy holy temple. | Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.’ | I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’ |

I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God. | To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, LORD my God, brought my life up from the pit. | |
When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; And my prayer came in unto thee, Into thy holy temple. | When my life was fainting away, I remembered the LORD, and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple. | “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, LORD, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple. |
They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. | Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love. | “Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them. |
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of Jehovah. | But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the LORD!” | But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the LORD.’” |
