6	Now six stone water jars had been set there for Jewish purification. Each contained twenty or thirty gallons.	Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.	Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
7	“Fill the jars with water,” Jesus told them. So they filled them to the brim.	Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.	Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water\|; so they filled them to the brim.
8	Then he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the headwaiter.” And they did.	And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it.	Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so,
9	When the headwaiter tasted the water (after it had become wine), he did not know where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew. He called the groom	When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom	and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
