1 “You are to build an altar of acacia wood. The altar must be square, five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high. “You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. And thou shalt make an altar <i>of</i> shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof <i>shall be</i> three cubits. “Now you shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. “Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.
2 Make a horn on each of its four corners, so that the horns are of one piece, and overlay it with bronze. And you shall make horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze. And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass. You shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze. 3 Make all its utensils of bronze— its pots for removing ashes, its shovels, its sprinkling bowls, its meat forks, and its firepans. You shall make pots for it to receive its ashes, and shovels and basins and forks and fire pans. You shall make all its utensils of bronze. And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make <i>of</i> brass. And you shall make its pails for removing its ashes, and its shovels, its basins, its forks, and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze. Make all its utensils of bronze—its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans.
4 Construct for it a grate of bronze mesh, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the mesh. You shall also make for it a grating, a network of bronze, and on the net you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners. And thou shalt make for it a grate of network <i>of</i> brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof. You shall also make for it a grating, a netting of bronze, and on the netting you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners. Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network.
5 Set the grate beneath the ledge of the altar, so that the mesh comes halfway up the altar. And you shall set it under the ledge of the altar so that the net extends halfway down the altar. And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar. And you shall put it under the ledge of the altar, so that the netting will reach halfway up the altar. Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar.

On the south side of the courtyard make curtains of finely spun linen, a hundred cubits long on one side, “You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side. And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward <i>there shall be</i> hangings for the court <i>of</i> fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side: “Now you shall make the courtyard of the tabernacle. On the south side <i>there shall be</i> hangings for the courtyard of fine twisted linen, a hundred cubits long for one side; “Make a courtyard for the tabernacle. The south side shall be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains of finely twisted linen,
10 with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, and silver hooks and bands on the posts. Its twenty pillars and their twenty bases shall be of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty sockets <i>shall be of</i> brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets <i>shall be of</i> silver. and its pillars <i>shall be</i> twenty, with their twenty bases of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands <i>shall be</i> of silver. with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.
11 Likewise there are to be curtains on the north side, a hundred cubits long, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, and with silver hooks and bands on the posts. And likewise for its length on the north side there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, its pillars twenty and their bases twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. And likewise for the north side in length <i>there shall be</i> hangings of an hundred <i>cubits</i> long, and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets <i>of</i> brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets <i>of</i> silver. 12 The curtains on the west side of the courtyard shall be fifty cubits wide, with ten posts and ten bases. And for the breadth of the court on the west side there shall be hangings for fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases. And <i>for</i> the breadth of the court on the west side <i>shall be</i> hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten. <i>For</i> the width of the courtyard on the west side <i>shall be</i> hangings of fifty cubits, <i>with</i> their ten pillars and their ten bases. “The west end of the courtyard shall be fifty cubits wide and have curtains, with ten posts and ten bases.
13 The east side of the courtyard, toward the sunrise, is to be fifty cubits wide. The breadth of the court on the front to the east shall be fifty cubits. And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward <i>shall be</i> fifty cubits. The width of the courtyard on the east side <i>shall be</i> fifty cubits. On the east end, toward the sunrise, the courtyard shall also be fifty cubits wide.
14 Make the curtains on one side fifteen cubits long, with three posts and three bases, The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases. The hangings of one side <i>of the gate shall be</i> fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three. The hangings for the <i>one</i> side <i>of the gate shall be</i> fifteen cubits, <i>with</i> their three pillars and their three bases. 16 The gate of the courtyard shall be twenty cubits long, with a curtain embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen. It shall have four posts and four bases. For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. It shall have four pillars and with them four bases. And for the gate of the court <i>shall be</i> an hanging of twenty cubits, <i>of</i> blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: <i>and</i> their pillars <i>shall be</i> four, and their sockets four. And for the gate of the courtyard <i>there shall be</i> a curtain of twenty cubits, of violet, purple, and scarlet <i>material</i> and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver, <i>with</i> their four pillars and their four bases. “For the entrance to the courtyard, provide a curtain twenty cubits long, of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen—the work of an embroiderer—with four posts and four bases.
17 All the posts around the courtyard shall have silver bands, silver hooks, and bronze bases. All the pillars around the court shall be filleted with silver. Their hooks shall be of silver, and their bases of bronze. All the pillars round about the court <i>shall be</i> filleted with silver; their hooks <i>shall be of</i> silver, and their sockets <i>of</i> brass. All the pillars around the courtyard shall be joined together <i>with</i> silver, <i>with</i> their hooks of silver and their bases of bronze. All the posts around the courtyard are to have silver bands and hooks, and bronze bases.
18 The entire courtyard shall be a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide, with curtains of finely spun linen five cubits high, and with bronze bases. The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, the breadth fifty, and the height five cubits, with hangings of fine twined linen and bases of bronze. The length of the court <i>shall be</i> an hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits <i>of</i> fine twined linen, and their sockets <i>of</i> brass. The length of the courtyard <i>shall be</i> a hundred cubits, and the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits of fine twisted linen, and their bases of bronze. The courtyard shall be a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide, with curtains of finely twisted linen five cubits high, and with bronze bases.
19 All the utensils of the tabernacle for every use, including all its tent pegs and the tent pegs of the courtyard, shall be made of bronze. All the utensils of the tabernacle for every use, and all its pegs and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze. All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, <i>shall be of</i> brass. All the utensils of the tabernacle <i>used</i> in all its service, and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the courtyard, <i>shall be</i> of bronze. All the other articles used in the service of the tabernacle, whatever their function, including all the tent pegs for it and those for the courtyard, are to be of bronze.
20 And you are to command the Israelites to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually. “You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn. And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always. “And you shall command the sons of Israel that they bring you clear oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually. “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.
21 In the Tent of Meeting, outside the veil that is in front of the Testimony, Aaron and his sons are to tend the lamps before the LORD from evening until morning. This is to be a permanent statute for the Israelites for the generations to come. In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the LORD. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel. In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which <i>is</i> before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: <i>it shall be</i> a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel. In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the LORD; <i>it shall be</i> a permanent statute throughout their generations for the sons of Israel. In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the LORD from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.
