1 Masters, supply your slaves with what is right and fair, since you know that you also have a Master in heaven. Masters, treat your bondservants justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. Masters, give unto <i>your</i> servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. 2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful, Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. 5 Act wisely toward outsiders, redeeming the time. Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 9 With him I am sending Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions—if he comes to you, welcome him), Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;) Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you his greetings; and <i>also</i> Barnabas’ cousin Mark (about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him); My fellow prisoner Aristarchus sends you his greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. 11 Jesus, who is called Justus, also sends greetings. These are the only Jews among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me. and Jesus who is called Justus. These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me. And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. For I testify for him that he has a deep concern for you and for those who are in Laodicea and Hierapolis. I vouch for him that he is working hard for you and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis.
14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas send you greetings. Luke the beloved physician greets you, as does Demas. Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. 16 After this letter has been read among you, make sure that it is also read in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you in turn read the letter from Laodicea. And when this letter has been read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea. And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the <i>epistle</i> from Laodicea. When this letter is read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and you, for your part, read my letter <i>that is coming</i> from Laodicea. 17 Tell Archippus: “See to it that you complete the ministry you have received in the Lord. And say to Archippus, “See that you fulfill the ministry that you have received in the Lord.” And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. Tell Archippus, “See to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, so that you may fulfill it.” Tell Archippus: “See to it that you complete the ministry you have received in the Lord.”
18 This greeting is in my own hand— Paul. Remember my chains. Grace be with you. I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.
