1 אָ֖ז אָמַ֣ר שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה יְהוָ֣ה אָמַ֔ר לִשְׁכּ֖וֹן בָּעֲרָפֶֽל׃ Then Solomon said, “The LORD has said that he would dwell in thick darkness. Then Solomon said, “The LORD has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;
2 וַֽאֲנִ֛י בָּנִ֥יתִי בֵית־ זְבֻ֖ל לָ֑ךְ וּמָכ֥וֹן לְשִׁבְתְּךָ֖ עוֹלָמִֽים׃ But I have built you an exalted house, a place for you to dwell in forever.” I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.”
3 וַיַּסֵּ֤ב הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֶת־ פָּנָ֔יו וַיְבָ֕רֶךְ אֵ֖ת כָּל־ קְהַ֣ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְכָל־ קְהַ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עוֹמֵֽד׃ Then the king turned around and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel stood. While the whole assembly of Israel was standing there, the king turned around and blessed them.
4 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר בָּר֤וּךְ יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁר֙ דִּבֶּ֣ר בְּפִ֔יו אֵ֖ת דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑י וּבְיָדָ֥יו מִלֵּ֖א לֵאמֹֽר׃ And he said, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hand has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to David my father, saying, Then he said: “Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David.
