Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead. through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth. who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer. for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
If you explain these things to the brothers and sisters, Timothy, you will be a worthy servant of Christ Jesus, one who is nourished by the message of faith and the good teaching you have followed. If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.
Do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly. Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.
“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance.
This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
Teach these things and insist that everyone learn them. Command and teach these things. Command and teach these things.
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
