1 And the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron—four. The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four. The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub and Shimron—four in all.
2 And the sons of Tola: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, the heads of the house of their fathers, of Tola, mighty men of valor in their generations. In the days of David their number was twenty-two thousand and six hundred. The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers’ houses, namely of Tola, mighty warriors of their generations, their number in the days of David being 22,600. The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam and Samuel—heads of their families. During the reign of David, the descendants of Tola listed as fighting men in their genealogy numbered 22,600.
3 And the sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah. And the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, and Isshiah—five chiefs, all of them. The son of Uzzi: Izrahiah. And the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah, all five of them were chief men. The son of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah, Joel and Ishiah. 4 And with them by their generations according to the houses of their fathers were troops of the host of battle, thirty-six thousand. For they had many wives and sons. And along with them, by their generations, according to their fathers’ houses, were units of the army for war, 36,000, for they had many wives and sons. According to their family genealogy, they had 36,000 men ready for battle, for they had many wives and children.
5 And their brothers among all the clans of Issachar were mighty men, eighty-seven thousand in all reckoned. Their kinsmen belonging to all the clans of Issachar were in all 87,000 mighty warriors, enrolled by genealogy. The relatives who were fighting men belonging to all the clans of Issachar, as listed in their genealogy, were 87,000 in all.

8 And the sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were sons of Becher. The sons of Becher: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher. The sons of Beker: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Beker.
9 And they were reckoned according to their generations, heads of a house of their fathers, mighty men of valor, twenty thousand and two hundred. And their enrollment by genealogies, according to their generations, as heads of their fathers’ houses, mighty warriors, was 20,200. Their genealogical record listed the heads of families and 20,200 fighting men.
10 And the sons of Jediael: Bilhan. And the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar. The son of Jediael: Bilhan. And the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar. The son of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish and Ahishahar.
11 All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of the fathers, mighty men of valor, were seventeen thousand and two hundred going out to the host for battle. All these were the sons of Jediael according to the heads of their fathers’ houses, mighty warriors, 17,200, able to go to war. All these sons of Jediael were heads of families. There were 17,200 fighting men ready to go out to war.
12 And Shuppim and Huppim were sons of Ir, and Hushim was son of Aher. And Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir, Hushim the son of Aher. The Shuppites and Huppites were the descendants of Ir, and the Hushites the descendants of Aher.
13 The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah. The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shallum, the descendants of Bilhah. The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shillem —the descendants of Bilhah.
14 The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his Aramean concubine bore. She bore Machir the father of Gilead. 15 And Machir took a wife of Huppim and of Shuppim, and the name of his sister was Maacah. And the name of the second was Zelophehad, and Zelophehad begat only daughters. And Machir took a wife for Huppim and for Shuppim. The name of his sister was Maacah. And the name of the second was Zelophehad, and Zelophehad had daughters. Makir took a wife from among the Huppites and Shuppites. His sister’s name was Maakah. Another descendant was named Zelophehad, who had only daughters.
16 And Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh. And the name of his brother was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rekem. And Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem. Makir’s wife Maakah gave birth to a son and named him Peresh. His brother was named Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 And the sons of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh. The son of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead the son of Machir, son of Manasseh. The son of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead son of Makir, the son of Manasseh.
18 And His sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah. And his sister Hammolecheth bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah. His sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishhod, Abiezer and Mahlah.

29 And along the borders of the sons of Manasseh were Beth-shean and its daughters, Taanach and its daughters, Megiddo and its daughters, Dor and its daughters. In these dwelt the sons of Joseph son of Israel. also in possession of the Manassites, Beth-shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these lived the sons of Joseph the son of Israel. Along the borders of Manasseh were Beth Shan, Taanach, Megiddo and Dor, together with their villages. The descendants of Joseph son of Israel lived in these towns.
30 The sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister. The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and their sister Serah. The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.

They were reckoned for the host, for battle, and their number of men was twenty-six thousand. All of these were men of Asher, heads of fathers’ houses, approved, mighty warriors, chiefs of the princes. Their number enrolled by genealogies, for service in war, was 26,000 men. All these were descendants of Asher—heads of families, choice men, brave warriors and outstanding leaders. The number of men ready for battle, as listed in their genealogy, was 26,000.
