May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us. Interlude1For the music director; to be accompanied by stringed instruments; a psalm, a song. May God show us his favor and bless us! May he smile on us! (Selah)
May your ways be known throughout the earth, your saving power among people everywhere.2Then those living on earth will know what you are like; all nations will know how you deliver your people.
May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.3Let the nations thank you, O God! Let all the nations thank you!
Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world. Interlude4Let foreigners rejoice and celebrate! For you execute justice among the nations, and govern the people living on earth. (Selah)
May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.5Let the nations thank you, O God! Let all the nations thank you!
Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us.6The earth yields its crops. May God, our God, bless us!
Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.7May God bless us! Then all the ends of the earth will give him the honor he deserves.
