Psalm 121
NLT Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationKing James Bible
1I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there?1A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
