Psalm 131
NKJV Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionKing James Bible
1A Song of Ascents. Of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me.1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me.2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
