1The LORD said to Moses,1The LORD spoke to Moses, "
2"Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'Make sure that you present to me at the appointed time my food offerings, as an aroma pleasing to me.'2Command the Israelites and say to them: Be sure to present to Me at its appointed time My offering and My food as My fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Me.
3Say to them: 'This is the food offering you are to present to the LORD: two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day.3And say to them: This is the fire offering you are to present to the LORD:" Each day present two unblemished year-old male lambs as a regular burnt offering.
4Offer one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,4Offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at twilight,
5together with a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives.5along with two quarts of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a quart of olive oil from crushed olives.
6This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.6It is a regular burnt offering established at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the LORD.
7The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sanctuary.7The drink offering is to be a quart with each lamb. Pour out the offering of beer to the LORD in the sanctuary area.
8Offer the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you offer in the morning. It is a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD."
9"'On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil.9On the Sabbath day present two unblemished year-old male lambs, four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering.
10This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.10It is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering."
11"'On the first of every month, present to the LORD a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.11At the beginning of each of your months present a burnt offering to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old--all unblemished--
12With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil;12with six quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each bull, four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for the ram,
13and with each lamb, a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD.13and two quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each lamb. It is a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the LORD.
14With each bull there is to be a drink offering of half a hin of wine; with the ram, a third of a hin; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon during the year.14Their drink offerings are to be two quarts of wine with each bull, one and a third quarts with the ram, and one quart with each male lamb. This is the monthly burnt offering for all the months of the year.
15Besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering, one male goat is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering.15And one male goat is to be offered as a sin offering to the LORD, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its drink offering."
16"'On the fourteenth day of the first month the LORD's Passover is to be held.16The Passover to the LORD comes in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month.
17On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days eat bread made without yeast.17On the fifteenth day of this month there will be a festival; unleavened bread is to be eaten for seven days.
18On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.18On the first day there is to be a sacred assembly; you are not to do any daily work.
19Present to the LORD a food offering consisting of a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.19Present a fire offering, a burnt offering to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old. Your animals are to be unblemished.
20With each bull offer a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;20The grain offering with them is to be of fine flour mixed with oil; offer six quarts with each bull and four quarts with the ram.
21and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.21Offer two quarts with each of the seven lambs
22Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.22and one male goat for a sin offering to make atonement for yourselves.
23Offer these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering.23Offer these with the morning burnt offering that is part of the regular burnt offering.
24In this way present the food offering every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the LORD; it is to be offered in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.24You are to offer the same food each day for seven days as a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. It is to be offered with its drink offering and the regular burnt offering.
25On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.25On the seventh day you are to hold a sacred assembly; you are not to do any daily work."
26"'On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the LORD an offering of new grain during the Festival of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.26On the day of firstfruits, you are to hold a sacred assembly when you present an offering of new grain to the LORD at your Festival of Weeks; you are not to do any daily work.
27Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.27Present a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old,
28With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;28with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, six quarts with each bull, four quarts with the ram,
29and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.29and two quarts with each of the seven lambs,
