1Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him! | 1Hallelujah! How good it is to sing to our God, for praise is pleasant and lovely. |
2The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. | 2The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem; he gathers Israel's exiled people. |
3He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. | 3He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. |
4He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. | 4He counts the number of the stars; he gives names to all of them. |
