New American Standard Bible 1995 | New International Version |
Then you will say on that day, "I will give thanks to You, O LORD; For although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And You comfort me. | 1In that day you will say: "I will praise you, LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. |
"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation." | 2Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation." |
Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation. | 3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. |
And in that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted." | 4In that day you will say: "Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. |
Praise the LORD in song, for He has done excellent things; Let this be known throughout the earth. | 5Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. |
Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel. | 6Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you." |
