Psalm 148
KJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleInternational Standard Version
Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.1Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from heaven; praise him in the highest places.
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.2Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his armies!
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.3Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.4Praise him, you heaven of heavens, and you waters above the heavens.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.5Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he himself gave the command that they be created.
He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.6He set them in place to last forever and ever; he gave the command and will not rescind it.
Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:7Praise the LORD, you from the earth, you creatures of the sea and all you depths,
Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:8fire, hail, snow, fog, and wind storm that carry out his command,
Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:9mountains and every hill, fruit trees and cedars,
Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:10living creatures and livestock, insects and flying birds,
Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:11earthly kings and all peoples, nobles and all court officials of the earth,
Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:12young men and young women alike, along with older people and children.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.13Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is lifted up; his majesty transcends earth and heaven.
He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.14He has raised up a source of strength for his people, an object of praise for all of his holy ones, that is, for the people of Israel who are near him. Hallelujah!
