ISV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew American Standard Bible 1995
God takes his stand in the divine assembly; among the divine beings he renders judgment:1A Psalm of Asaph. God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers.
"How long will you judge partially by showing favor on the wicked? Interlude2How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah.
"Defend the poor and the fatherless. Vindicate the afflicted and the poor.3Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
Rescue the poor and the needy, delivering them from the power of the wicked.4Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
They neither know nor understand; they walk about in the dark while all the foundations of the earth are shaken.5They do not know nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
"Indeed I said, 'You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High.6I said, "You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.
However, as all human beings do, you will die, and like other rulers, you will fall.'7"Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes."
Arise, God, to judge the earth, for all nations belong to you.8Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You who possesses all the nations.
