| 2Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies you have established strength on account of your adversaries, in order to silence the enemy and vengeful foe. | 2Because of Your adversaries, You have established a stronghold from the mouths of children and nursing infants to silence the enemy and the avenger. |
| 3When I look at the heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you established— | 3When I observe Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You set in place, |
| 4what is man that you take notice of him, or the son of man that you pay attention to him? | 4what is man that You remember him, the son of man that You look after him? |
