He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress; I will never be shaken.2He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.
How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you throw him down like a leaning wall or a tottering fence?3How long will you assail a man, That you may murder him, all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
They fully intend to cast him down from his lofty perch; they delight in lies; with their mouths they bless, but inwardly they curse. Selah4They have counseled only to thrust him down from his high position; They delight in falsehood; They bless with their mouth, But inwardly they curse. Selah.
Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him.5My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken.6He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God.7On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.

Place no trust in extortion, or false hope in stolen goods. If your riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.10Do not trust in oppression And do not vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.
God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: that power belongs to God,11Once God has spoken; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;
and loving devotion to You, O Lord. For You will repay each man according to his deeds.12And lovingkindness is Yours, O Lord, For You recompense a man according to his work.
