Remember Your Creator in Your Youth

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"--1Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”;1Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, "I have no delight in them";1Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;1So remember your Creator in the days of your youth: Before the days of adversity come, and the years approach when you will say," I have no delight in them";
before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain;2before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars are darkened and the clouds return after the rain,2before the sun and the light, the moon and the stars are darkened, and clouds return after the rain;2While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:2before the sun and the light are darkened, and the moon and the stars, and the clouds return after the rain;
when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men stoop, when the grinders cease because they are few, and those looking through the windows grow dim;3in the day when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men are bent, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those who look through the windows are dimmed,3in the day that the watchmen of the house tremble, and mighty men stoop, the grinding ones stand idle because they are few, and those who look through windows grow dim;3In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,3on the day when the guardians of the house tremble, and the strong men stoop, the women who grind cease because they are few, and the ones who watch through the windows see dimly,
when the doors to the street are closed and the sound of grinding fades; when people rise up at the sound of birds, but all their songs grow faint;4and the doors on the street are shut—when the sound of the grinding is low, and one rises up at the sound of a bird, and all the daughters of song are brought low—4and the doors on the street are shut as the sound of the grinding mill is low, and one will arise at the sound of the bird, and all the daughters of song will sing softly.4And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;4the doors at the street are shut while the sound of the mill fades; when one rises at the sound of a bird, and all the daughters of song grow faint.

when people are afraid of heights and of dangers in the streets; when the almond tree blossoms and the grasshopper drags itself along and desire no longer is stirred. Then people go to their eternal home and mourners go about the streets.5they are afraid also of what is high, and terrors are in the way; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper drags itself along, and desire fails, because man is going to his eternal home, and the mourners go about the streets—5Furthermore, men are afraid of a high place and of terrors on the road; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper drags himself along, and the caperberry is ineffective. For man goes to his eternal home while mourners go about in the street.5Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:5Also, they are afraid of heights and dangers on the road; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper loses its spring, and the caper berry has no effect; for man is headed to his eternal home, and mourners will walk around in the street;
Remember him--before the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well,6before the silver cord is snapped, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern,6Remember Him before the silver cord is broken and the golden bowl is crushed, the pitcher by the well is shattered and the wheel at the cistern is crushed;6Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.6before the silver cord is snapped, and the gold bowl is broken, and the jar is shattered at the spring, and the wheel is broken into the well;
and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.7and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.7then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.7and the dust returns to the earth as it once was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it."
"Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Everything is meaningless!"8Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher; all is vanity.8"Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher, "all is vanity!"8Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.8Absolute futility," says the Teacher. "Everything is futile."

The Fear of God is Utmost

Not only was the Teacher wise, but he also imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs.9Besides being wise, the Preacher also taught the people knowledge, weighing and studying and arranging many proverbs with great care.9In addition to being a wise man, the Preacher also taught the people knowledge; and he pondered, searched out and arranged many proverbs.9And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.9In addition to the Teacher being a wise man, he constantly taught the people knowledge; he weighed, explored, and arranged many proverbs.
The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true.10The Preacher sought to find words of delight, and uprightly he wrote words of truth.10The Preacher sought to find delightful words and to write words of truth correctly.10The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.10The Teacher sought to find delightful sayings and write words of truth accurately.
The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails--given by one shepherd.11The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd.11The words of wise men are like goads, and masters of these collections are like well-driven nails; they are given by one Shepherd.11The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.11The sayings of the wise are like goads, and those from masters of collections are like firmly embedded nails. The sayings are given by one Shepherd.
Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.12My son, beware of anything beyond these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh.12But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body.12And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.12But beyond these, my son, be warned: there is no end to the making of many books, and much study wearies the body.

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.13The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.13The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.13When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is: fear God and keep His commands, because this is for all humanity.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.14For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.14For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.14For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.
