Let us now make a covenant with our God to divorce our pagan wives and to send them away with their children. We will follow the advice given by you and by the others who respect the commands of our God. Let it be done according to the Law of God.

So we must now make a promise to our God to get rid of all foreign women and the children born from them, as my lord [Ezra] and the others who tremble at the commandments of our God have advised us to do. We must do what Moses' Teachings tell us.

Obnovimo sada Savez s Bogom svojim: obećajmo da ćemo, prema savjetu moga gospodara i onih koji osjećaju strahopočitanje prema zapovijedi Boga našega, otpustiti svoje žene tuđinke i djecu koju su rodile. Učinimo dakle po Zakonu!

Façamos, pois, agora mesmo uma aliança com o nosso Deus, de que mandaremos embora todas as mulheres pagãs e os seus filhos, conforme o conselho do meu senhor e dos que amam e temem diante dos mandamentos do nosso Deus. Que tudo seja feito em conformidade com o que orienta a Torá, Lei.

Agora, pois, façamos um pacto com o nosso Deus, de que despediremos todas as mulheres e os que delas são nascidos, conforme o conselho do meu Senhor, e dos que tremem ao mandamento do nosso Deus; e faça-se conforme a lei.
